Running With The Wolves

Running With The Wolves

A Poem by KWP
"

A poem asking one to drop out of conformity and live true, live free.

"
Let's Ride Sally Ride
Honey climb aboard
Most wish to meet their maker
But right here is your lord

I see you I feel you
In your shackles and chains
Ground down by society
Let me show you a new game

I watch you as you dance
To your own little tune
Defying the rules
Can't get away too soon

I have what you want
I offer it free
Jump aboard Sally
Come ride with me

The dark is calling
For you it awaits
It will unveil new pleasures
Changing the course of your fate

Escape the mundane
We the wolves stay out late
Sally we are calling
Your young flesh we cannot wait

Take you and break you
Unveil your fears
Don't be scared Sally
To yourself we bring near

When running with us
There's no need for the masks
When running with us
You will loose the fear of the dark

You will understand clearly
Your thoughts you do own
Don't swim with the schools
Find your own way home

Sally I salivate
As I breathe in your essence
Come run with the wolves
We shall teach you some lessons

Choose to be free
Your own shackles you must release
Find the wolf living inside
It knows the way to peace

KWP,
"Running With The Wolves"
"I see you I feel you in your shackles and chains." Everyone is a soul wanting to affirm and be affirmed in ourselves and the lives of others.
Shackles and chains create a bondage which ties the heart from which we shine.
"Sally" can be any one struggling with pain: drugs, old wounds, war trauma. The list is endless.
"The dark is calling. For you it awaits." The future is unknown and waiting whether we are fearful or not.
Are we afraid of the dark?Hopefully the complexities of this life will not drown. This is the root question? Will I survive?
This piece was a challenge to ieep trying, keep pushing on.....don't give up, give in.
Bless you and your strength of voice.

I know why its great to write with you, the reason is above in this fantastic poem, your plea to find freedom is a call dear to me, i have long wished for the freedom of spirit and pursued many Masters to teach it from Jesus to Ramana, its a long, long road, that's why i accept rebirth to accumulate enough learning for the spirit to grow, your poem Elizabeth unleashed my soul here and i talk too much lol
Brilliant work boss :)

A story like phrasing to point out how at times the invitation has been laid infront of us yet at times we can't or won't accepts it. So it continues as a way to encite, why and how the object should ake part in a journey of discovery on a journey of realazation and finally throug hthe doing brings to manifestation the best possible actions into existence.

Thankyou

The title really compliments the poem nicely, and it was sort of like a slap in the face with words that just popped out at me all over the place. Again, find your figurative side, and that'll help some others visualize it well. I liked the rhymes and the seriousness of the poem. Keep it up!

An interesting write, and concept. I wonder though, whether changing swimming with the schools for riding with the pack achieves much in individual freedom. It seems like changing one herd mentality for the other. Now, riding solo, that may be what you seek here.
I loved the rhyming in this, and how you have painted a picture.
