Year started

with a bang

Things going well

our hearts sang

March brought 

bad news

Corona Virus

worse than flus

made things

impossible

Isolation, distance

masks

Struggling with

simple tasks

Tik toks, zoom,

family quizz

open another

bottle of fizz

trying to 

get through it

As the year

trundles on

Hopes of seeing

family gone

Normality up

in smoke

This virus

is no joke

Still this year's

end in sight

Goodbye 2020

Hasn't been

the year of plenty

Glad to see

the back of it

Everything has

been quite s**t

Hope rages on

2021 please be

2020. A new challenge that closed us in our homes, far away from the things we used to love so much in the past. It was hard for any of us, and yes, as a student I can say I lost so much time without my colleagues I know for more than 8 years. 2021 was the same, but now we wait for 2022, even if I think it'll be like 2 years ago. COVID-19 is destroying everything we had, but I still hope that this pandemic will end soon. Thank you for sharing this with us!

Thank you for your lovely review - yes we have to remain hopeful - I've only just started back writing now - for a while everything seemed too hopeless - but starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel - hang in there things will get bettter x
