You're going to save me chum

I'd tell my swollen tum

Made me give up my addictions

Letting go of all afflictions

Nurturing baby was key

Meant the world to me

Look like my sister too

My lovely little you

How I love my Rosie child

Nature loving, shy and mild

Cleverest girl I ever knew

There's nothing that you cannot do

Animal mad, you love them all

Loved them since your were small

Wanted a dog, we got you a cat

Think you are quite happy with that

A lovely ragdoll, you named Sunny

Loving, faithful, naughty, funny

Shy and glued to mummy's side

From new things you did hide

Now your older, friends with many

Time for Mum, hardly any

When you go out, I do sigh

Off you go, beautiful butterfly

awwwwwwwwwww ... so wonderful sad the letting go eh!? really enjoyed the journey in your poem .. and how the rivers runs different when a child is in the mix ... that contrast between past life and life "from now on" is so relateable ... i would have been lost and wandering forever had i not found love and began a family ..so many memories flood my mind and heart ..thank you for sharing KT ... i wouldn't even begin to think about how to critique this one .. nice job says i!
