Ice Cream & Sorbets

Ice Cream & Sorbets

"Ice Cream & Sorbets"

Last night I dreamt of flavoured ice

lemon, mango, oh so nice

was going to buy some, was homemade

when went to pay, my card mislaid

woke up in the morning throat did ache

If only sorbet, I could make

"Lucas Ices" famous here

So many flavours and not dear

Took a walk there this fine night

And to my absolute delight

Keylime cheesecake was a saver

had some on a chocolate waver

Not exactly diet food

Never mind was really good

Did not regret a single bite

on Thursday morning I just might

weight watchers scales might tell on me

I'll have to just wait and see

If they don't I'll go back there

down to Lucas without a care

mint choc chip, salted caramel flavour

and each mouthful I will savour

sorbets, mango, iron brew

Life is far to short not to!

If it is taken for purely medicinal reasons - where's the harm … Ahhh ... Love the 'smooth' and creamy flow of the write; a cooling message of delight! PS – hope the throat feels better

Exactly - just what the doctor ordered - sorbet and rest, with a good book ;) - thanks Phil

great rhyming with an interesting present that gives much favor to the all mighty sorbet
