an ode to my fave actor

"Tom Hardy"

First saw him in Lawless

His performance was flawless

Fell in love right there and then

So a poem I had to pen

A tribute to a handsome man

By little old me, Tom's biggest fan

In Legend, played both the Krays

Didn't know they swung both ways

In Taboo his character's dark

Still manages to ignite that spark

Think he'd make a great James Bond

007  - I'll be your blonde!

Battled with drugs and booze

 luckily before all did loose

he realised the error of his ways

and now sees happier, cleaner days

I admire him for admitting his fights

helping folk in similar plights

He chased robbers in the street

and knocked them off their feet

Donated money to families of Grenfell Tower

If he can help, if it's in his power

Tom Hardy will stand up to the plate

I wish I was Tom Hardy's mate
