an ode about pretentious folks

Mr Clean

Never been one to admire money

suits, cars, high flyers ain't funny

social climbers, make me sick

how many asses can you lick

So you got a huge house

that's really the banks

do I want that, no thanks

live within my means

never liked those kind of scenes

fake people, fake lives

dishonest husbands, greedy wives

fakery at it's most obscene

thinking that your Mr Clean

Give me honest, hardworking any day

what? you don't comprehend what I say

Didn't think so, it's beyond your scope

never be like you, I hope

I liked this and it carried a very determined and formidable stance on the issue. No doubts here.

Mom and Pop they taught us. Then, the world, it bought us. We wanted this, we wanted that. We have to make our tummies fat. I'm with you with that big scene. But that's because they picked me clean.
Actually it's much easier to keep track of now. ha, ha.
