20 mph Madness

Edinburgh, one of thee most congested

Now a 20 mph zone, white van man no digested

so whilst everyone obediently drives slow

the guy in the white van's raging, shouting to go

What a joke who's bright idea was this

the average motorist "are you taking the piss"

no good for your motor, no good for your stress

instead of fixing a problem, making more of a mess

Need to leave a day early to get anywhere

this 20 mph rule, is not feckin fair

people on bikes passing you, as they fly by

traffic in this city, makes you wanna cry

Taxis must be feeling it, who's gonnae want one now

can you imagine the price, holy moly cow

just a wee ode to get out my frustration and pain

Driving around Edinburgh, leaves one quite insane

And - motorists will be given £100 fines and three penalty points if they are caught over the new 20mph limit in force. What they gonna charge a mum and pushchair doing over 20mph on the school run - great rant - loved the 'fiery' emotion!

"Holy moly cow!" This was the highlight for me. Here I paused, smiled wide and thought to myself "what a great line!" It was your's, completely original and summed up the previously stated frustrations. I know these all too well as in recent years the cities have constructed these asinine round abouts which just cause more congestions. On the phrase he shouted to go instead merely shouted go, go, go!?

It's amazing what they find in these holds, I always wonder why a person would not go back it - my niece works for a storage co. and she sometimes gets to keep stuff that has never been collected, one time she got all this designer gear and it was all brand new and her size! - :)

ha check out charity shops - bet there's lots in people's lofts....it's really interesting some of their finds but others a load of old croc lol

Those are the thrifties I speak of. I have an old little dresser on hold til next week I want to use as a bedside table. It has five drawers and it's only about two and a half foot high for merely 30.00! I like to read so now I'll have a place to store my books instead of stacking them on the tabletop I have now.
