"Bear family and me"

I'm watching a programme, whilst eating my tea

It's the title, "Bear family and me"

It's a wonderful watch and relaxing too

this guy in the wild, not in the zoo

Following a family of bears and their cubs

They scratch on trees and search for grubs

The guy, he feeds them, fruit and grapes

he has hours and hours of tapes

He gets overconfident, thinks their his friend

but one false move and his life could end

He forgets their wild animals, not household pets

These bears are so strong and also real threats

There's an old guy on it, he's so gentle and kind

He calls "It's me bear", as he tries to find

the bear families and see how they are faring

It's nice to see someone out there so caring

There's a cub on it that's starving, painfully thin

the team decide to intervene, not knowing if they'll win

They monitor her progress, with hope that she's well

The wee cub has thrived, I'm delighted to tell
