a tribute to beautiful angels everywhere

"I believe in Angels"

In a world full of chaos, destruction and despair

Syria, hell on earth, children dying, just not fair

My heart breaks for that place and the people there

Nothing can be done they say just hope and a prayer

May the angels be in that place full of gloom

and take the dead to their heavenly room

May they wipe the tears away from the ones who live

and give strength to the helpers the ones who give

Angels of mercy, angels of love

Friends of the people, sent from above

I look for you but never see

just lots of white feathers, a gift to me

Sometimes I think I see your wings

Need to believe, your comfort brings

Hope in despair and God's good grace

Angel, I wish I could see your face

I don't how to put this but there seems to be something different between the two stanzas. Even thought the first stanza was good and conveyed to me the urgency of your messages the second stanza has a greater undefined power. Did you gain a greater inspiration as you were writing, did come back at a later time and add it? I felt a progression in the writing here.

The war of good vs. Evil has been going on since Lucifer took one third of the hosts of heaven and rebelled against our Heavenly Father. It still rages here until the second coming of Christ. We are soldiers in the battle blessedly we are not on the frontline.

Where is anyone without hope. I think this need is what draws people to anything they can find to help in this life. The subject of angels is popular. People seem to find many ways and many means of spirituality. I find that intriguing. Yes, this world is full of clues for our need for God. Angels are His creation and a mystery to us but they are His messengers and His servants as are those whom profess Christ. A beautiful poem!

Yes, but that's just how life is...Depressing, lonely, hopeless, and hurtful...But we as people need to do everything in our power to help others...Just give it your best, and hope for good results...
