KTBradley,
"A mother's Love" Your shining heartfelt tribute is just honest and forthcoming. The thing I like about this is just how your mother is described as a basic good person who worked, loved, gave and sacrificed. Aren't these attributes which truly are remembered in the end
A few lines I liked in particular; "Never quick to anger, graceful and good." and "wasn't greedy for success, was happy to be mum." and this is so big; "Selfish little children, demanding all the time- did not dissuade her, even in her prime."
There is much more here that is golden. Your poignant image of your dear mother reminds me of my mama Betty Catherine. Now my parents are both in their 80s and I just am so blessed to have them and to love them.
Thanks again for your poem. Kathy

I hope that I have my two parents for a long time still. I was listending to mother the other day and she was sayiing that there was not a lot of money for making meals and such. She made good food for we kids, five of us. We helped her a lot, canning, meals, some house work, yard work. Dad taught us too about work a great deal. Again your wonderful poem was very meaningful. We went to church. Yea I am thankful and it is good to read poems which remind us to be so. Thanks again so much...............Kathy

Always the hated word, cancer. But in your own words, you've brought her back. Great tribute.

Ah, this is a beautiful tribute to your mum. Luckily mine is still alive and kicking, had a few close calls, but she's a tough old bird. Hopefully get many more years with her in my life.

Your poem relates to my mom very much, her dedication and determination to provide us something good in this life even when our situations were tough to handle... You wrote this with details and very heartfelt words which speaks of your mother so well and gives us an idea about her character and what kind of a life she went through and still stayed strong in her will... I am sorry for your loss, but I'm very happy to read your kind words of love for her... A very gentle and heartfelt work...
Sincerely
Dhiman
