Screaming Silently

Screaming Silently

A Poem by Alex P.
"

Poem I found in my desk, figured I should get it typed up

"

I watch from behind stained glass,

So close yet so helpless

I see your soul,

It screams silently,

As your surface warps,

Something unrecognizable,

To us both

I cry out,

But you can’t hear me

I’m too scared to break the glass,

For I do not know if the shards will harm us

Desperation sets in,

I have no choice,

I break the glass

But can I save you?

Interesting mysterious piece of artwork. I enjoyed the imagery you painted and the poem had a good amount of emotions put into it.
