Mo RuadhA Poem by Alex P.A poem written on the fly in relevance to the book I'm reading -- "Outlander"
The setting sun’s rays catch in your hair,
Illuminating its fiery magnificence.
The golden sunbeams bask your skin in warmth
and mine.
You’re a dream, but so solid,
History, but so real.
How could I ever try waking up,
When my heart aches for you,
Even when you’re but in another room?
When you touch me,
My skin sears with longing
When you speak,
I’m enchanted
Your body bares marks of your suffering,
And my lustful tattoos.
Streaks of red and white,
Raised against labour-bronzed skin
Your colours you wear proudly,
Your alliance you make known,
Yet you find the time,
To love me in a way that leaves no doubt,
In my travel-weary mind
My fair one,
My future rests in your hands,
And yours mine
from the secrets of Craigh na Dun,
I come you,
Giving all that I am,
Mo Ruadh
