Onyx and Crimson

We walk in an unsuitable town,

Two lost souls seeking retribution

We alone know the perils,

That those who lurk here cannot possibly fathom

 

Copper and Sage,

Games of cat and mouse,

Prey and predator

Are always evident within this city’s walls

Unholy acts, sanction amiss,

Within it we play

 

Scarlet and Raven,

Playing upon grimy rooftops,

While sinning occurs below,

We are oblivious to anyone but each other

Dancing in the moonlight,

So very different, yet so very alike,

We dance

 

Jade and Ruby,

Heartfelt stories pass our lips,

The roars of hot fire and cold steel,

The chilling song of an Angelic Blade,

Reverberates through my core

 

Stone and Lava,

Our games turn scandalous,

The new goal is seduction,

The new feelings unknown

Equally matched in more ways than one,

We’re breathless,

Teased senseless,

Laughing

 

Ebony and Pine,

Unspoken words and broken connections

Emotions raging within us, around us

Please don’t go

 

Blood and Shadows

A new quest begins; led by the heart,

Pushing my body to its limits,

Becoming better, stronger, faster,

More worthy of you

Once I’m finally ready, I go to the place you told me
