Hope Eternal

Hope Eternal

A Poem by SPINNING ON that dizzy edge

Should you?

Open the door

just a crack and let in

a bit of light to play –

the dust dancing

in the luster of the panoramic ray

of a puddle of sunshine

Can you?

Tip up your hand

the palm is open wide

fingers splayed for reaching

slowly turning

to make another grasp – searching space, teaching

pull it gently to your heart?

Would you?

Trust that a day

eternal insight blessed

thoughts sparkling, vibrant true

feeling a hint

of new revisions - placed fixations - that blew

a cacophony of JOY!

I love the visual here... this would make a delightful painting.. I can almost envision it. I would love to see someone paint this poem.. make sense? I really enjoyed this one; the only change that I may consider would be the next to last line - i didn't quite get it... but that's just me. Overall, this is very intriguing and inspiring - thanks for sharing.

I like the colourful nature of this. I know there are no colours mentioned I just feel them from the words you have written. I think it's maybe the colour of joy that is beautiful to me.

Very visual. The sun, the door, the hand. It could be a photograph by Bresson. It is a lovely smooth piece of writing
