Another First Kiss

Another First Kiss

A Poem by SPINNING ON that dizzy edge

Fingertips so gentle up my arm
a touch so sweet - light sugar
With eyes closed
I wonder if it is real
or just the wish of all
those nights alone
gliding across my forgotten skin

I wonder how a hand so big
can be so gentle
as you tucked tussled hair
behind my ear
Your thumb grazed
my chin to tip it up
to look into your eyes -
Yours into mine...

A kiss, a first kiss now
with the pulse of you
or me
in my ears
We stand so close
there is no room
for thoughts of
stopping
I don't want to stop
this first melting chocolate
kiss

Lips warm and soft,
parting, gentle,
the tip of your tongue...ahh
firm and moving
oh so slowly
towards my neck...
my earlobe...

I am undone...

A nice so nice beginning, An appetizer so to speak, not the easiest thing to do, and yet the pangs of hunger shudder through, creating moving feelings as the wetness of saliva slips to hold, those dreams when I would never be so bold, but then I realized I'm old.

There is nothing more beautiful or meaningful to totally open yourself up to the vulnerability of love and desire. Wonderful poem!
