Friends Don"tA Poem by SPINNING ON that dizzy edgeWhat is worse - your man cheating on you or your best friend that lets it happen? You broke my heart put it in your hand and twisted Pulled it right apart. All the times we shared secrets with heads together like teens No details spared You and me learning when sadly, husbands weren't forever right? Tried on life again Not much I wouldn't do for you Drove your drunken a*s home Haha - you drove mine home too Kids teaching us respect world saying its okay to play strife leaving its effect I met him and fell hard Like I was sixteen and full of love We sat there in the yard... You told me kinda sad How he asked you to try him out Was it really all that bad? Yes, it was - can't pretend The two of you - in my shiny place The X and My Best Friend... Why?
