Talise

Talise

A Poem by Michael Leon Wilson
"

Talise i love you to say the least
take my open heart feed it to the beast
called fate, scream at it with all your hate
for in a twist of fate i could be your soul mate
but in all the same that fate could be the blame
to tear us apart and we may ever be the same
listen to what i say
lean into me feel my arms around you
your vulnerable, arnt you
your heart is still pink and whole
mine is black and broken
like ashes of of bones smokin
im choking on my words
writhing on my feeling
beleiving i am deceiving
is meerly self defence seeking
of the walls of your heart i am breaching
just another painful lesson im teaching
and pain is what im preaching
you can hear it in my screaming
that i am still beliving
that it is only love you are seeking
and i know what you are thinking
because it memories from your brain i am retreiving
