Losing Hope

Losing Hope

A Poem by Michael Leon Wilson

Darling darling wont you save me
I'm falling fast and quickly fading
This heart has been beaten and isn't breaking
Thoughts of you seem as if they're never changing
I'm not meaning to but memory of you begins erasing,
I miss the way you loved me, when you could say that you loved me,
Missed the way you hugged me when you could say that you loved me,
Missed the way you felt when you didnt hide your feeling,
I'm not dealing well with separation
Seems to me a segregation
My heart is yours but losing patience,
I feel that it's not real and soon from this dream I'll be waking,
You say you wanna be with me but ill bet you end up staying,
That's the way it's always been
To my gut I'm listening
Upon a month another is take upon a break I end up broken,
Every breath in my direction, causes affliction leaves me choking
He smothers you, you leave me barren,
I dont think that my speech will help this,
I dont like it cause I feel so helpless
Guess I'll play the cards I got then the pot shall be dealt with,
I want good for you but I'm kinda selfish,
Stay your course keep you path
I'll try to keep my grass,
I'll hold on but my grip will fade the more time you let elapse.
Opportunity was yours in the history
Maybe that's all that we could ever be,
I just hope I'm not too far past it
We become past tense
I need to bounce back and be elastic,
I just cant shake the feeling that my love for you emence and drastic
Will turn upon me as our magic turns tragic.

About
I'm sick with frantic rhymes that can be dark, morbid , scary sensual or just plain strange. What makes me different is I write about anything, with no filter. more..
