A message to a lover.

A message to a lover.

A Poem by Michael Leon Wilson

Dont you fret
Have no fear
Even within my silence I am here
Pardon my absence
Time is vast yet the end is near
I have so much to prepare
I've been sprinting madly
Constantly, thinking objectively
Working on myself
And the thoughts within me
My essence is boiling
My body broiling
My mind feels like inside my head
Its doubling, tripling
Abused serotonin receptors again
Independently dripping
Internal clock is ticking
Peace beginning
All my prior projects
And priorities finishing
I'm learning
This turning
Point in my life fueled by yearning
The strife that binds me has come untied
I'm cleaning house for when you come inside,
I hope that all is alright,
I'll see you tonight.
