Siren's song

Siren's song

A Poem by Michael Leon Wilson

Once upon a memory...
A sweet siren sang to me
Her voice was sweet but full of pain
I hear it echo to this day
Resonating through my brain
I feel her love I hear her pain
She beckons me into the sea
Her gentle tides they tug at me

Once upon a memory
She was my Queen I was her king
I loved her she spoiled me
Now she's gone it's not the same
My palace now it feels empty
Empty chairs , and empty rooms
So now I sing I call to you.

Once upon a memory...
I met a siren by the sea
Beckoning she called to me
Dragging me into her sheets
She was sweet and she was warm,
But in her heart there was a storm.
This sweet siren washed ashore
I ushered her into my doors.
I gave her love I took her pain,
But now she lives in yester day
Her memory it makes me rain
My eyes will flood with pain
Now I keep her locked away,
Somewhere she is safe with me.
Once upon a memory.

I'm sick with frantic rhymes that can be dark, morbid , scary sensual or just plain strange. What makes me different is I write about anything, with no filter. more..
