Fools Rush In

Fools Rush In

A Poem by B L Bushong
"

I heard the Elvis song the day I wrote this... You know the one... And I just wanted to write something quick. Here's the poem, enjoy.

"

Old folk's rationality,
Is vastly over-scored,
A hypocrite's duality,
Ensures he's never bored,

If fools rush in, then fool I am,
Because rushing's all I do,
But rushing turns to crashing, BAM!
I've rushed right into you.
