A Song of You and I

A Song of You and I

A Poem by B L Bushong
"

Here's what is, without a doubt, my most popular DA poem... No idea why, but apparently Swiss girls like it, cause that's where most of the favs came from.

"

I was blind,
You gave me eyes,
I gave you truth,
You fed me lies,
I was deaf,
You gave me ears,
I was brave,
You gave me fears,
I was dead,
You gave me breath,
You saved my life,
And stole my death,
My life, my breath,
Turned into death,
And gave me ears,
To hear my fears,
And in the end,
You weren't my friend,
Because you lied,
And then you died.
