Find Me

Find Me

A Poem by B L Bushong
"

I'm not really sure what inspired this poem. I just wrote it. Anyway, enjoy.

"

When words mean more than feelings,
Or we love just to survive,
When we only reach for ceilings,
And we don't even try to strive,
You'll find me,

Where heartache equals happy,
And happy equals sad,
And sadness equals snappy,
But anger's rather bad,
You'll find me,

When a year can last a week,
And winter lasts your life,
When summer sun is meek,
And cold cuts like a knife,
You'll find me,

Where all the roads may find you,
From here to there to dawn,
May summer and sun find you,
Whatever path you're on,
Come find me.
