Denver stole my kisses
Placed upon your cheeks. Denver stole the sun For 40 months and weeks. It fixed up all the problems That`ve been there all along. If you point the finger It can`t be blamed for wrong. But Denver stole our songs And tangled up their tune. Anger painted grey the sky And sadness stole the moon. How can I forgive now? How can we still cope? Denver made it easier But forgot to give us hope. © 2010 klewis |
