I am battered and bruised
but I am holding on.
Because I am strong
The world is beating down my door
but it will not last long.
Because I am strong.
They think I will fall
but I will prove them wrong.
Because I am strong.
You have never seen anything like a girl
with nothing left to give
decide to live.
So try and break me down.
A new day will dawn.
Because I am strong.
