Joyous Misery

Joyous Misery

A Poem by KJ Hernandez
"

I can't recall ever being happy, so I don't know *how* to be happy. And I'm terrified of doing new things, so I don't even *want* to be happy. It's sad.

"
Happiest at my worst,
I could never be content
With being content.

I crave the ache,
I long to suffer;
I live, I breathe,
It hurts.

Seeking refuge in familiar shadows,
I am at peace.

I...find it hard to talk to people. So if I don't really respond to comments, it's probably because I'm scared that people are noticing me. more..
