Please Don't Leave

A Poem by KJ Hernandez
"

After a week of pretty serious sleep deprivation, I attempted to take a midday nap. And was interrupted by a very loud, inconsiderate friend. And I instantly thought this up.

"
He has stolen from me Sleep,
that fair maiden,
Who so often eludes my grasp
(being so very shy);
Presently had I clasped her dear,
gentle hand in mine,
When he pulled her from my side.

I...find it hard to talk to people. So if I don't really respond to comments, it's probably because I'm scared that people are noticing me. more..
