I Miss You

As you might guess from the title, this is about someone I used to be close to, but now never see or talk to. Also, I wrote it while walking home at night, looking at the sky.

Off, rotating away,
In our own orbitals;
Then, once in a blue moon:
Planetary alignment;
A tenuous connection,
In a blink, we drift apart again.
No risk of collision.
