On the Brink of a Revelation

Wow. What *happened* in Winter 2012/13 to make me feel so Summer 2011? I guess it'll always be there.

There are moments I feel,
I truly believe,
That I *almost* see it.

So close,
So irritatingly,
Infuriatingly,
*Close*

Ripples, jagged edges,
Puzzle pieces that don't
Quite
Fit.

Reality lies just beyond my grasp,
Outside of my perception.
The fog relents for barely a moment,
Then I'm thrown back,
Forever kept from the truth.

But it's there.
On the other side of this door.
I can almost see it.
