wrote this for an english assignment but it really touched home with the way i was feeling about my relationship with an ex

Is it because im wrong,

Or is it because you’re wrong?

Are you too blind to see the truth?

Are you too deaf to hear my pain?

Is your skin too rough to feel the warmth I can give?

I wish I could live the life you live so dearly,

I wish I could fog my vision and not see clearly.

I wish I could pretend that everything I feel inside is alright.
