Darkness falls

The dark, the light, an angel of the night.
The forsaken lover wandering in the twilight.
Will she join him in this everlasting night?
Or will she leave him for the light?
In the graveyard he waits, the bite to seal her fate.

As he waits he visits his dreams,
they are dark and lonely,
filled with loved ones lost to time.
oh! this endless night!
a curse that cannot be undone.
The darkness falls around him,
and still he waits...
