"

It's about a dancer that has to decide wether or not to trust this guy. That's all I'm going to tell you! Haha If you want to know than you have to read it. I know... I'm evil.

"

It's just the intro.

Dancer

Ok. I can do this. The announcer called my name, giving a short Introduction as to who I was....and I froze I really didn’t know what to do! I mean I don’t get stage fright! I don’t get tense! I don’t get scared! Why? Why now? But, then I looked out I saw the stage and I knew what I had to do. I took a breath as the announce came my way and the stage went dark...

I closed my eyes as the soft, easy, almost light to your ears, music seeped into my ear and then the tecnicilored lights hit the stage and I was gone. I danced around the room as the spot light followed me. The night went on like that for awhile . I never looked out to see the the crowed because I knew that they weren’t their.

They always promised , “Oh! We will be there don’t worry we won’t let you down this time.”  Yeah! Right,I use to believe that. Heck, I use to count on it, but they didn’t show not once, not ever. They would apologize and I would always say it was fine. So, I quiet counting on it, I quiet looking out into the audience and just danced to dance. I danced for me, for the crowd, for anyone that truly seemed to care because they didn’t and that wasn’t going to bother me ever again.

The first three dances were out of the way. They were each four minutes long and the nerves were gone. I was practically feeding off the crowds cheers. The younger girls were on the stage now and there were only six more to go before I did the closing.

Finally, The last dance was here and I could finish and go home. I can’t wait to get some sleep! I walk out and go threw the dance and then I did something I hadn’t done in what seemed like forever I looked at the crowd and a sparkle caught my eye. I continued to dance, but came closer to the edge of the stage when I did so and that’s when I saw him. Why was he here? It didn’t make sense he was the bad boy, the one guy I couldn’t get at all? Yet he was here with out any clear reason that I knew of at least.

I was changed and heading out the side door to my car, but as I stepped out I fell strait into someone. I was on my back as I glanced up I saw a well dressed man that looked like he was in his mid forty's and behind him was a woman I presumed was his wife.  I quickly apologized , but he said it was his fault and we just blew it off. I grabbed my bag and told them to have a nice evening. I turned to walk away, but ended up coming face to face with the guy I had seen in the crowd.

I was stunned when I realized that he was the person that I thought he was. He was a hot-head, a jerk, and the best soccer player my collage had seen in years. He seemed pretty surprised to see me too, but quickly recovered and said, “Hello, Emily.”

“Hi.” I responded after a short, but awkward pause.

The man and woman were still standing behind me and the man finally spoke again, “Emily, you were the girl from the performance?”

Crap.
