Alone

Do you ever get the feeling you’re alone?

Like you’re the only person in the world who believes what you believe?

You’re the only one not holding hands with someone.

The only one not lying in the grass with someone.

The only one not with anyone.

Do you ever feel that maybe there isn’t anyone who sees you?

Maybe they don’t.

Maybe you’re invisible.

Have you ever asked someone?

Just called out…

“Hey can you see me?

Can you see this person made up of millions of cells standing right in front of you?”

Or would you be too scared.

Maybe they wouldn’t respond.

Because deep down you know they wouldn’t.

They would stop, look behind you

And just keep walking.

Maybe they would see you.

Maybe your eyes would meet with theirs and a slight wink will radiate through their eye.

Then you would know that you are somebody.

You would know that at least one person has seen you in your life.

And to me, that’s all a person needs to know, that they aren’t alone.

i like this hope on the end. maybe one day. lonely feels can make us weak or can make us strong. but be always alone can make you very bitter. be with someone is important it s make us more gentle and more calm. thank you
