Just a Glass of Water

IT is summer and it is really REALLY hot. Yes, I am making a big deal about it.

I have heard from many people that to much sun can make a person go crazy

I have heard it from all sorts of people

But it was a certain person

It was someone who new the truth

They had cured the whole thing

All you need is...

Just a glass of water

Author's Note

This is a message to remind you that the temperatures are gettin in the 90's and people are having heat attacks. Please remember to stay hydrated. Nothing bad should happen since no one is in school. But if you are in school and this happens...you will have an excuse.

i disagree ! this is more than a message to remind me that the temps... the first line is f*****g great ! it has such a feel to it... and the way it s written and the subject matter... and the second line: from all sorts of people: you can certainly turn a phrase. and the third line works...and the fourth... Second half of the poem works. it s an excellent remedy to the dilemma proposed in the first half of the poem. But the first half is truly magical. the first half reminds me of clouds, the second of rain
