My wish

What if wishes were real?

If wishes were possible and If I could have only one wish I wouldn't have to think very long about what I want. Because my wish would be simple it wouldn't be for money because God knows that brings more problems. It wouldn't be in love because I love myself plenty. It wouldn't be to walk because as my fellow quadriplegic friend said walking is overrated. It wouldn't be for any of those silly things that you would think. It would be if wishes were possible that everyone in this world all over would get along. Not that everybody would be best friends no that there will be no more Wars no more hatred no more intolerance. No more believing that if someone does not feel the same way you do about a certain subject, there's any reason to physically assault them or hurt them in any way. Basically, I wish you could walk down the street and have everyone be cordial to each other. That everyone would understand what's not theirs is not theirs. Essentially there will be no bad neighborhoods and you could feel free to walk down the street anywhere without fear of death or being beaten to a pulp. And you wouldn't hear any more about these 20-something kids going to jail because they beat some elderly gentleman senseless and he's on his deathbed now. And kidnapping that would be a thing of the past and pedophiles, those sick b******s wouldn't exist. Essentially what I'm saying is I love my life, I want to continue living it, I also want everyone to continue to live theirs. Because in this world all we have in our life is the friends we make and the love we share. That gives us all meaning and joy to know that we are loved and we can be the reason for someone else's happiness. Anyhow, have a fantastic day.
