As the day drags on I think of you

And I wonder if you think of me too

I sit here and think of the time we spent

And wonder where them good times went

 

No longer do I have you here

As much as I wish that you were near

What I wouldn't do to have you hold me tight

To have you hold me close throughout the night

 

I wish that I could see your face

Each time I do, it makes my heart race

To see your eyes, to see your smile

Wishing I could see you just for awhile 

 

I'd love to hear your voice once more

To hear your knock upon my door

The way you say my name aloud 

Makes my heart as light as a cloud 

 

What I wouldn't do to feel your touch 

It's a feeling that I miss so much

To have your arms embracing me

This is the place I most want to be

 

You've be gone for so long

And this feeling is just so wrong

I realise that it's no ones fault

I just want this feeling to come to a halt

 

This time will surely come soon

As I look out my window at the moon

My mind slowly begins to roam 

As I think of the day that you'll come home
