To My Dearest Brother

This is the first poem I wrote. I wrote it for my older brother on his 21st birthday

Congratulations on this special day 

It will be remembered in an amazing way 

Now that you are twenty-one

A new chapter has just begun 

 

Live life large and to the max

Choose your way, don't follow in others tracks 

It's your story for you to wirte

Whatever you do your future is bright

 

You are my big brother

and I wouldn't want any other 

Even though its not often said aloud

I love you very much and am very proud 

 

I am proud to have a brother like you

Someone who I can look up to 

Your honest, caring and protect me 

Ever since I was born in 1993 

 

I wrote this poem to let you know 

That I love you my big bro

The time is here so don't hesitate 

Go ahead and celebrate
