Never Ending

Written in 2011; When everyone in our school separated into different schools... True friendship never ends

I may have known you for a while

I might know you for a week

But that doesn’t change a thing

Especially how I think

The school year is about to end

And we'll go out different ways

Our lives will change greatly

And we know that ‘till the end

But no matter where we are

Miles and miles apart

The sky above us is the same

Leading to never ending ways

The clouds will shade often

And so it may rain

But that doesn’t mean you’re gloomy

It doesn’t state your day

Remember when we met?

Actually I don’t

I just know that currently

You aren’t to be forgot

Our connection is not of strangers

But something much much more

It’s a bond that we can understand

Even if seen as fools

Let me tell you one thing

I mean this with all my heart

I’ll say it this once

So open up your heart

I love you; it’s a simple phrase

Only 8 letters long

But the meaning that I put with it

Are many years long

It describes the tight bond we have

No matter how far

We have a never-ending friendship

And it’s not to be forgot

HAGS, keep in touch

And good luck in high school

I write it in your yearbook

I write into your heart

I hope you do not forget me

In many years to come

I hope that when you look up

And see the shining stars

I hope that when you look up

And see the fluffy clouds

I hope that when you look up

And see the sky in general

I hope you’ll think of me

And remember all the times we had

‘Cuz never ending, that is it

It describes us perfectly

In years to come we’ll still be friends

So when you look

When you look and see the sky

Look far beyond

Maybe you’ll see its never-ending path

And our friendship will come into mind

So I promise, I’ll tell you now

It’s not a goodbye till we’re dead

I will really miss you

So keep in touch and eat healthy

But promise just one thing

One thing is all I ask

Please don’t forget me in many years to come
