A Poem by KASI
"

Written a year after the Japan disaster.

"

Peaceful

Was how we lived

Upon our land

Without a doubt

of doom nor death up rise

Disaster

Came with a wave

Struck our land

and swept away

All happiness or hope

Gone

Was everything

From our food

to people dear

leaving nothing to spare

Hope

Replaced our fear

It was warm

It's all we have

to keep inside our souls

So here we wait for happiness, to regain it's formal name.

Shocks

Hit every night

Giving us fear

Shaking us all

Striking our very bones

Danger

Lurks in the air

Food we eat

Poisoned by fear

And gases in the air
