Forever Far

Forever Far

A Poem by Brave New World

Cannot live, Cannot laugh, Cannot die

Without you life will always be a lie

Every hope remains tossed away

For a pitiful dream on another day

Every fantasy is a war with fate

Who serves to remind me of a world of bitter hate

No matter how close, I remain forever far

Filled with anger and jealousy, the door remains ajar

Yet never open, and endless closed

No matter how hard I try

If you need me, I am here…if you hate me, I will still remain ever so near

If you ignore me, I shall flee away… If you want me, I will be here without delay

I say a thousand things and live in a million lies

Sometimes hoping this will be the last of a hundred good-byes

Knowing that deception is my key

You’ll never really know what lies inside of me

Can’t stand to do nothing, can’t hope to do a thing

Waiting for a train that will never come

This is so sad.. I think i know who it's about too. But the fact that you're basically waiting for that person, no matter what they do and if they want you back or not... that's sweet. Favorite poem so far.
