Flicken Stone

Flicken Stone

A Poem by Brave New World

Left here alone

Like a flicken stone

Tell me what to do

And I’ll follow you

To the end of earth

Into the fires of a hearth

Yet in my heart I know

That no matter what I do, you’ll just go

Leaving me stuttering and mumbling

Cuz who cares that I’m really crumbling

All I can see is a shadow

The twilight gleams so beautifully

When the present is so dank and dark

I know chasing you is my ruin

My mind tells me it’ll just be my do in

Accept what im given

What you threw at me out of pity

Even though you know it’s quite gritty

I’ll only glance at her to see your face

As sad as that is, it happens to be the case

You leave me no option, no choice

Given what I have, you can’t expect me to rejoice

I’ll play it till I win it, throw every card I have

Don’t care whose heart I break, for mine’s beyond repair

Emotions flying, up in the air

It’ll all be settled, at a point

Then begin again from the same joint

Heartbreak follows you, envelops you

You bring it all

The attention, the pain

And then, when it comes back to you

You dare complain

When I think of it, I hate you

Your face, your features

Down to the sound of your voice

Yet, in the end of ends

I’ll still love you

Forever, till the end

Brave New World
Grammar is probably terrible and the flow just sucks.... very odd and bipolar

I don't find it odd at all. in the sense that it's not strange.
it's only odd in the fact that one can love and hate someone at the same time.
it's more common than you think...

I don't think that the flow sucks at all and the oddness is beautiful. the fast pace of a thought process entices me...and I love this.
