Once you meant everything.....

Once you meant everything.....

A Poem by Brave New World

Living life on autopilot

Trying to find my life, but I can’t even dial it

Promising lies I never hope to do

All I know is that I’ll never be with you

As I look into those eyes

My soul slowly dies

For I can never get myself to say good-bye

All I can think of is a million regrets

The pain is my heart’s beget

A life without you would be a second Eden

To think of you is but another stab of the knife

Once you meant everything

Now I wish you were dead

In you I saw everything that I could see

I saw anything that could be

Now all I can fathom is a void

Leaving me nothing but a meaningless droid

Once you meant everything

Now I wish you were dead

You left me falling

A life without a calling

Every emotion is an attack

Blinding every cataract

 Once you meant everything

Now I wish you were dead
