Redundancy of Contrition

Redundancy of Contrition

A Poem by Kevin

Another "emotional" argument
And sentimental "abuse"
Drag me through the dirt again!
Here we go down the same lane!

Bitter tension down the walls
And scream throughout the halls!
The "L" word has began to rust!
We'll follow the trail of dust!

A night without a word
Is short of paradise!

Another pointless fight
Leaves our feelings paralyzed!

Where do we go from here?
Do our paths just split directions?
"Promise me you'll be happy."
And bitterly, I hope.

A night without a word
Is short of paradise!

Another pointless fight
Leaves our feelings paralyzed!

Another "emotional" argument
And sentimental "abuse"
Drag me through the dirt again!
Here we go down the same lane!

Where do we go from here?
Do our paths just split directions?
"Promise me you'll be happy."
And bitterly, I hope
That you'll return tho the one I know

Bitterly, I hope
That you'll return tho the one I know.

Bitterly, I hope
That you'll return tho the one I know.

Bitterly, I hope
That you'll return tho the one I know.
