Waiting in HellA Poem by K.C. Zbrykhave you ever been powerless?Panic sets in as the missing Is discovered to be such Not in place Out of the environment Everything that gave me reason is gone All the points to stay clear Have become muddied Leaving me to my reactionary nature The extrovert becomes enraged Yet trapped in this minute space While the introvert Converges in on himself In the fetal position Silent I yell and thrash about my space Demanding an answer Attempting to resolve this exaggerated emergency But I may as well have collared myself Locked myself away For all the good I can do here And this just fuels the fire The lack of able intervention Eats at my psyche There is no planning to resolve There is just stewing in the wake of the missing If I could plan I could be calm If there was an action to take I would But there is nothing To do but wait and yell At whomever I can Demanding they do what they can Due to my entrapment Jenny where are you… 01/03/2013 0237 © 2013 K.C.
