Abide With Me

Abide With Me

A Poem by Martin

Abide with me in silence
and listen for the magick
It's here if you look
overwhelmed in the beauty
so tragically overlooked.

Abide with me in laughter
the carefree soul, here, thrives
there is no place here
for greed, fear, or lies.
The lesser spirits of the soul.

Abide with me in reflection
the fourth dimension of the soul
remember jokes made, lives saved
and stories told
and still told by the sky.

Abide with me in death
when all our dues  are paid.
Be sure to leave your light behind
when your soul escapes.
Abide, then, with everything
