The Love of a ChildA Poem by Martin
Love does not come in candy,
or mortal flowers that shrivel away in five or six days. It does not come in false promises that maybe someday we will have a good day and everything will be okay. Love is within the grasp of a child comforting his sobbing mother who's daughter wouldn't say "I love you" on Mother's Day It is in the father-son conversation that is held without speaking a word but every single thing to say is entirely understood. Because someday it will be okay but right now a child holds his weeping mother and a father needs his son.
