Waltzing With a Goddess

Waltzing With a Goddess

A Poem by Martin

I found you in the forest

Waltzing in the moonlight.

Enchanting the trees and whoever walked by.

And when I walked by,

The moon reflected your beauty

Into my eye, told me-

Dance with her.

And when I did,

The wind whistled a tune

Ruffling leaves that

Danced with us to our song

How could it be that

A lowly wanderer like me

Could stumble upon a Goddess

Such as you?

With warmth giving hair,

Healing red lips

And sunlight glowing

From your fingertips

There we were, Waltzing

In the presence of All.

The moon, she was smiling,

The trees, they were dancing,

And the wind was singing

Our song.

Romantic, beautiful piece of writing. Entertaining, clear but nicely expressed images.
