Finding herself

Finding herself

A Poem by Jyoti_Ablaze

Jiggling down the lane, she laughs

She laughs so hard that she cries

Running down the lane, she falls

She falls so hard that she flies

Stumbling across it, she finds

Finds something deep, she loses

 Desperate for breath, she binds

She binds so tight that she frees

As a free spirit she rise

Rises so sure that nothing defies.

I like how you used imagery in the poem because it make it seem like I am actually there.

Jyoti, i promised to read your poem, "Saved", but I couldn't find it! So here I am.

This is a very lovely piece. The highlight of it is the changing flow of images as this girl passes through the full gamut of emotions. Very nicely done.

A very delicate poem. Simply worded but very well executed.

Ps. I just realised the poem was called, "Rescued"! Smh.....sorry! Will read that soon!:)

quite unique-cum-interesting poetry!
seems more like a very proactive stuff you come to lick down this time... esp. in such paradox of enliven words.

it's, you know, always quite hard finding oneself in this so crowded world patched up with the cliches of thoughts, may be, it's cos... we're all being so unforbidden, & living life with such desolation. perhaps, "rising like a free-spirit.. from the ground... so as none could defy anymore"... is crucial thing to be understood for better living. inspirationally uplifting work. rhythmic patter's majestic as well, as always! nice imagery here.

Thank you, Hanah. Glad that you enjoyed my work. :)
I thoroughly enjoyed the oppositions you have created: 'laughs' then 'cries', 'binds' then frees' etc. Beautiful poem, and easy for one to relate to. :)
