Her

Her

A Poem by Jyoti_Ablaze

That day she witnessed the invisible;
Of it she spoke with her lips sealed.
Many ignorant heard her voice;
Just to let it fade in silence,
 While she kept on screaming.

So powerful in its simplicity. Loved the calmness of this piece. Really, you can say a lot with only 5 stanza's giving room for your reader to react differently to it.
Well done. Best read today

Sometimes words are not enough. Glad you visited.
Powerful words and places you took the reader. You create thoughts and visions of struggle hidden inside. Thank you Jyoti for sharing the excellent poetry.

An interesting piece, playing with oxymorons. Short but expressive. I enjoyed reading.

You're welcome.
I love a piece that speaks deeper than intended, because people tend to have their own perspective and/or life connections. That said, this, to me, speaks also of wisdom itself...and that not everyone actually gets wiser in necessary areas of life.
Thanks for sharing!

Oh, Jyoti, you always flood your words with rivers of movement and emotion. This is so painfully dark and powerful. How her silences speak so profoundly.
