That day she witnessed the invisible; 
Of it she spoke with her lips sealed.  
Many ignorant heard her voice; 
Just to let it fade in silence, 
 While she kept on screaming.

this reminds me of one of my favorite poets, Sylvia Plath...

her silent screams, maybe within her poetry and letters, but no one listened, or if they did, they did not understand the cries for help...
